Father and Son
A Heave Offering

The Body is the Outer Garment
The Soul is the Inner Garment
The Anger is what is Clothed
The Spirit--the Ruach, the Breath--
Is the Life and the Beauty of the entire organism.

The relationship of Father and Son is an important focus of the Gospel of John, and the names commonly used in English translations make it much more difficult to understand what is intended than an honest, consistent translation of names were given. The story of Hosea ben Nun, who was called to assist Moses, whose name was changed (according to King James) to Joshua, then to Jehoshua is the story of the man of the gospels, who did not come in his own name, whatever that might have been, but in the name given to him be the Father. That name is more honestly written in English as Y'shua. The name Y'shua (Joshua) refers to the man listed in Matthew 1:16, the man who said, "It is enough for the servant to be AS his Lord." The name of the heavenly messiah, then, would be rendered as Yahushua (Jehoshua).

We are saved by faith, not by knowledge or practice. I make the distinction to avoid confusion.

The Gospel of John, interpreted in the light of this restoration of names is posted here, as a pdf file
