Ezekiel's Vision
When I began to extend the lines of Adam Kadmon
beyond its perimeter, I recalled Ezekiel's chariot vision. I
though of the reaching lines as wings extending from the paths
of the Tree of Life, as echoed in the words of Isaiah 6:2: "Above
it stood the seraphim; each one had six wings; with two he covered
his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did
fly:"
Isaiah's vision was situated in the heavens,
whereas Ezekiel's vision was situated upon Earth; thus Ezekiel
saw but four wings, two stretching upward and two covering the
bodies.
