| The stink of war is upon us, and every solution we can devise is likely to end in mayhem. Dishonesty is the god of war, and its heroes are monster, however noble their sacrifice. If death of the enemy is justifiable from human perspectives, it cannot be so from the perspective of HaShem. It is in his power to kill and to make alive at any moment. If man kills, the offending may be severed for a moment, but it will find a new home in those offended by the loss of blood. Every family is offended when one of its own is murdered, even if they must admit that the loved one deserved his fate. Blood calls for blood. It's a simple concept. Why is peace as a solution so difficult to accept? Did God tell you to go kill? Did he not first tell you not to kill? Why is it easy to obey the law that is not good when it's so difficult to obey the law that is good? Is it not because the law that is not good suits your natures? You therefore adopt its principles because its complexities offer cover for your shame, which is that you were unable to obey the law that is good? "First I gave them good laws, then not good." This is God dropping the hammer on the disobedient. By obeying the not-good law, they embrace the penalty for not obeying the good law. "Why will you die, O Israel?" Is it not because you are exactly like the people with whom you would war? And because you expect to earn the favor of God by removing those who he can remove at any instant without the loss of blood and the specter of revenge? Your god is not God. Your god is rejection, rebellion, recidivism in all things. There can never be peace until there is peace. For this reason the Teacher of Righteousness held up his hand and ordered, "Soldiers! Do harm to no man." You can protect with all your strength, but you do not have license to kill. If protection is not possible, greater love has no man than that he lay down his life for his enemies. Such sacrifice is most holy, and HaShem will avenge his martyrs. So I say unto you, lay down your weaponry and take up the plow. There are people who hunger in every nation. Let's get real and live, for a change. There is so much to discover and do. Let God make it right, for we cannot. All we can do is plead for his intervention by obeying the law that is good. The not-good law will teach us of messiah, but we are fed of messiah if we obey the law that is good. The food he offered is chelated for life everlasting. The Goliath of war is an element of Gath tg, the process g of perfection t. He is a phenomenon that manifests in the land of the Philistines, of Peleset, of Palestinia, of Palestine. The battlefield lies in Gaza hzo, which has been around from the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. It is darkness o that stands in opposition z to light h, to life h. Nothing done there shall profit anyone but the dealers in death, the masters of war. There is a new Goliath in our day. I'll let God name him; for he has control of many mortal souls. Be still; For only in our quietude shall we know without doubt that God is. Our inaction will force his hand. Fear not. His mercy endures forever and evermore. |
